Hi, I'm Paolo 'Pole' D'Alessandro. I am a computer engineer with passions for videogame development, video production and hip hop culture. I'm an hard worker with a strong focus on quality and details and I have both the skills and the creativity to make my works stand out. Other than a skilled programmer, I'm an engineer with a solid background in mathematics and physics. When I'm not studying or working on a project, I'm probably dancing with my crew or playing something with my buddies over Discord. Pixel Art Camera
Pixel Art Camera is a simple tool for Unity that can be used to achieve pixel perfect graphics at any
resolution.
It works by rendering the game at the target resolution and then upscale it to the biggest
possible integer factor.
This way, the pixel art will always remain pixel perfect with no artifacts.
Pixel Art Camera is open source and is avaiable for free on the Unity Asset Store.
Disboard
Disboard is a C++ framework useful for studying and developing AIs for turn based games.
It includes a basic game engine that can be expanded to implement any type of sequential turn based
game.
It also features different AIs that can play any game made with Disboard.
This projects benefits from the HPC (High Performance Computing) facility of the University of Parma, Italy.
Bolganone
Bolganone is a companion app for Fire Emblem Heroes, a popular
gacha game for mobile platforms.
Thanks to its features and completeness, the app quickly surpassed other competitors and became the most
popular FEH companion app on Android, reaching 12k users and a rating of 4.8 stars.
Bolganone was also featured in different videos by a popular content creator of the community.
LoR Wiki
LoR Wiki was the first companion app for Legends of Runeterra to land on Android.
It has over 5k downloads and a 4+ stars rating.
The app features a database with all the cards currently avaiable in the game, a deck builder and a match
simulator.
Lor Wiki was selected for the Legends of Runeterra Developer Challenge held by Riot Games.
